This role is essential in ensuring businesses and clients remain compliant with legal requirements while assisting with the recovery of unclaimed assets. Your legal expertise will play a key role in protecting our clients’ rights and ensuring a smooth and professional process.
Responsibilities
Legal Compliance: Review and ensure that all client claims adhere to applicable laws and regulations, particularly in corporate and financial contexts.
Document Review: Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, and corporate filings to support asset recovery processes.
Client Representation: Provide professional guidance to clients, ensuring they understand the legal requirements and implications of their claims.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with Case Managers, Claims Investigators, and Administrative Support to resolve complex legal issues and streamline claim processing.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks in claims or processes and develop strategies to address them proactively.
Research: Stay updated on changes in corporate and asset recovery laws and provide insights to ensure the firm’s operations remain compliant.
Skills and Qualifications
Extensive Knowledge of Corporate Law: Strong understanding of corporate compliance, asset recovery, and business regulations.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies or risks in documentation and ensure accuracy in all legal processes.
Strong Communication Skills: Clearly explain legal terms, requirements, and processes to clients and team members.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactively address legal challenges and find effective solutions for complex cases.
Licensed Attorney (Required): Must hold a valid license to practice law in the State of Florida.
Experience in Asset Recovery (Preferred): Familiarity with unclaimed property laws and recovery processes is a plus.
