Check Your Claim Status | Denny Borges, P.A.
Claim status

Where your claim stands.

Florida publishes how far it has worked through its queue. We compare that against the date your claim was filed, so you can see your position instead of wondering. Every date here comes from the state's own record.

Look up a claim

Two details

Both appear on the agreement you signed. We ask for the last name so that a claim number on its own cannot be used to look up someone else's file.

This page shows the stage of a claim and nothing else. It never displays amounts, account details, or personal information.

Nothing showing, or something unexpected? Call 1-888-815-7782. A page can only report what the state has published; a person can tell you what is actually happening on your file.

    How this works

    Position, not a promise

The Division of Unclaimed Property works through claims roughly in the order it receives them, and publishes the date it has currently reached. If your claim was filed after that date, it is still in the queue. If it was filed before, it is in the group being reviewed now.

We cannot move a claim up the line, and neither can anyone else. What we can do is make sure the file is complete so it does not stall when the state reaches it.

You can also check the state's published progress yourself at FLTreasureHunt.gov.
