Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When will I receive my first case?
We will assign you a case as soon as there is availability in your area. Cases are distributed based on location, availability, and demand.
How do I get paid?
Payments are commission-based, meaning you earn a commission for every successfully closed case. Commissions accumulate and are processed in accordance with the State of Florida’s payment schedule.
Payments are issued via check or direct deposit once the state releases the funds for each case.
Do I have to find clients myself?
No. We provide you with clients who are ready to sign. However, some cases may require multiple visits with the same client due to additional paperwork, identity verification, or legal procedures.
How much will I earn per case?
You will earn between $50 - $300 per notarized case, depending on the complexity and number of documents. Additional bonuses are available for high-volume notaries.
How long does the process take?
The timeline varies by case. Once a notarization is complete, the processing time depends on the Florida state treasury’s schedule for releasing funds. Notaries are paid as soon as the state processes and distributes payments.
Do I need any special certifications aside from my notary commission?
No additional certifications are required. However, having Remote Online Notary (RON) authorization or a Loan Signing Agent certification can help expand the types of cases you handle.
Can I handle multiple cases at the same time?
Yes! Notaries who perform well may receive multiple cases simultaneously, allowing for greater earnings potential.
What does the commission for Local Agents include?
If you choose to become a Local Agent, you can earn up to 15% commission per successfully closed case. This commission covers:
Mileage and travel expenses related to meeting with clients.
Phone calls and client coordination to ensure document signing.
Gas expenses for travel within your designated area.
Any additional notarizations required for the case (when applicable).
Administrative time spent handling the case and ensuring its completion.
What happens if a client refuses to sign or delays the process?
If a client refuses to sign after several confirmed visits, unfortunately, we are unable to provide compensation, as payments are only made for successfully closed cases. However, we will work with you to strategize the best approach to move the case forward and maximize the chances of completion. If delays occur, we will coordinate with you on the next steps to finalize the case.
Do I need to travel long distances?
No. We assign you cases within your preferred service area to minimize travel time. If you are open to handling cases in surrounding regions, you may receive additional work.
How do I track my assigned cases and payments?
We provide an online portal where you can track assigned cases, pending payments, and case statuses in real time.
